5-MTHF Plus Forte® supplies folate in the active form of (6S)-5-Methyltetrahydrofolic acid, glucosamine salt. 5-MTHF Plus Forte® is a highly absorbable, activated form of folate, which does not require enzymatic conversion to 5-methylfolate in the body. The glucosamine salt form utilized in 5-MTHF Plus Forte® is more stable than other forms of methylfolate often used. Each serving (1/2 tablet) of 5-MTHF Plus Forte® contains 2,500 mcg of folate.
