Refund policy

Effective Date: May 7, 2018
Last Updated: August 10, 2026

This Return & Refund Policy explains the return, replacement, cancellation, and refund practices of Pharmedico Compounding Pharmacy & Wellness ("Pharmedico," "we," "us," or "our").

Because Pharmedico provides both prescription pharmacy services and retail wellness products, return eligibility differs depending on the type of product purchased.

Please review this policy before completing your purchase.

1. Prescription and Compounded Medications

Prescription Medications Are Generally Final Sale

For patient-safety and regulatory reasons, prescription medications, including compounded medications, generally cannot be returned for resale or reuse once dispensed.

This applies even if:

  • Your therapy is discontinued
  • Your prescriber changes your medication
  • You no longer need the medication
  • You experience a change in treatment
  • You ordered more medication than you ultimately use

Prescription medications should not be mailed or otherwise returned to Pharmedico unless a Pharmedico pharmacist specifically instructs you to do so.

Prescription Problems

Please contact Pharmedico promptly if you believe your prescription has:

  • Been dispensed incorrectly
  • Arrived damaged
  • Been compromised during shipping
  • Been mislabeled
  • Arrived in the wrong quantity
  • Been affected by a recall
  • Experienced a product-quality issue
  • Been sent to you in error

Pharmedico will review the situation and determine the appropriate resolution based on applicable law, professional standards, the specific medication, and the circumstances involved.

Possible resolutions may include:

  • Replacement
  • Correction
  • Refund
  • Prescriber consultation
  • Manufacturer or supplier investigation
  • Other appropriate action

2. Compounded Prescription Cancellations

Compounded medications are customized for an individual patient.

You may request cancellation before preparation begins, but cancellation is not guaranteed once Pharmedico has begun compounding or preparing the medication.

Once customized preparation has begun, some or all of the charge may be non-refundable because ingredients, pharmacist time, supplies, and other resources may already have been committed specifically to your prescription.

If you need to cancel or change a compounded prescription, please contact Pharmedico as soon as possible.

3. Eligible Retail Returns

Eligible non-prescription retail products may be returned within 14 days of delivery if they are:

  • Unused
  • Unopened
  • Factory sealed when originally supplied with a seal
  • In the original packaging
  • In resalable condition
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase

Return eligibility is subject to the exclusions in this policy.

All returns require prior authorization from Pharmedico.

4. Non-Returnable Retail Products

For health, safety, product-integrity, regulatory, or customization reasons, the following items are generally not eligible for voluntary return:

  • Opened dietary supplements
  • Opened vitamins or nutritional products
  • Products with broken or removed safety seals
  • Refrigerated or temperature-sensitive products
  • Prescription medications
  • Compounded medications
  • Custom or personalized products
  • Special-order products
  • Products prepared specifically for a customer
  • Clearance or final-sale items when clearly identified as such
  • Gift cards
  • Products that cannot legally or safely be resold

These restrictions do not prevent Pharmedico from providing an appropriate remedy for products that are defective, damaged, incorrect, recalled, or otherwise subject to rights that cannot lawfully be limited.

5. Damaged, Defective, Missing, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order promptly after delivery.

If an item is:

  • Damaged
  • Defective
  • Missing
  • Incorrect
  • Leaking
  • Broken
  • Otherwise materially compromised

please contact Pharmedico within 7 days of delivery whenever reasonably possible.

Requests submitted after 7 days may still be reviewed depending on:

  • The nature of the issue
  • Product type
  • Manufacturer warranty
  • Carrier requirements
  • Applicable law
  • Other relevant circumstances

We may request:

  • Photographs
  • Lot number
  • Expiration date
  • Packaging photographs
  • Shipping label
  • Order number
  • Other information needed to evaluate the claim

Please retain the product and original packaging until Pharmedico provides instructions.

6. Temperature-Sensitive Products

Temperature-sensitive products generally are not eligible for voluntary return.

If you believe a temperature-sensitive product may have been compromised during shipment, please contact Pharmedico before using it.

A warm or thawed cold pack alone does not necessarily establish that a product is unsuitable for use.

Product stability depends on factors including:

  • Product formulation
  • Manufacturer specifications
  • Temperature
  • Duration of exposure
  • Packaging
  • Storage requirements

Pharmedico may review manufacturer or product-specific stability information before determining whether replacement or refund is appropriate.

7. How to Request a Return

Do not send a product back without prior authorization.

To request a return, contact Pharmedico at:

Phone: 941-952-3959
Email: Support@PharmedicoRx.com

Please provide:

  • Your name
  • Order number
  • Product name
  • Reason for the return
  • Relevant photographs when applicable

If the return is approved, Pharmedico will provide return instructions and, when applicable, a Return Merchandise Authorization ("RMA") number.

Unauthorized returns may be refused.

8. Return Shipping

For eligible voluntary returns, customers are generally responsible for return shipping costs unless Pharmedico agrees otherwise.

Original shipping charges are generally non-refundable unless:

  • Pharmedico shipped the wrong item
  • The product arrived damaged or defective
  • A shipping error was caused by Pharmedico
  • Applicable law requires otherwise

If Pharmedico determines that a return is the result of our fulfillment error, we may provide:

  • A prepaid return label
  • Replacement shipment
  • Refund
  • Another appropriate resolution

Return shipments should be packaged securely.

Pharmedico is not responsible for eligible voluntary returns that are lost or damaged before reaching us.

9. Return Address

Do not send merchandise to this address unless Pharmedico has approved the return.

Approved returns may be directed to:

Pharmedico Compounding Pharmacy & Wellness
Attn: Returns / RMA #[Number]
6206 N Lockwood Ridge Rd.
Sarasota, FL 34243

Never mail prescription medication to Pharmedico unless specifically instructed by a Pharmedico pharmacist.

10. Return Inspection

Returned merchandise will be inspected before a refund is approved.

A return may be denied if the product:

  • Has been opened
  • Has been used
  • Has a broken seal
  • Is missing packaging or components
  • Is damaged after delivery through customer handling
  • Is outside the return period
  • Does not match the authorized return
  • Is otherwise not in resalable condition

These restrictions do not apply when a different remedy is required by applicable law or when the return concerns a qualifying defect, fulfillment error, or other covered issue.

11. Refunds

If a refund is approved, Pharmedico will generally issue the refund to the original payment method.

We typically initiate approved refunds within approximately 10 business days after:

  • The returned product is received and inspected; or
  • Pharmedico otherwise approves the refund without requiring a physical return.

Your bank, card issuer, or payment provider may require additional time to post the refund to your account.

If more than 15 business days have passed after Pharmedico confirms that your refund was issued, please contact us.

12. Partial Refunds

In appropriate circumstances, Pharmedico may provide a partial refund rather than a full refund.

Examples may include:

  • Partially fulfilled orders
  • Multi-item orders where only some items qualify
  • Manufacturer-authorized partial credits
  • Other situations agreed upon between Pharmedico and the customer

Any partial refund will be communicated before it is finalized whenever reasonably possible.

13. Exchanges

Pharmedico generally does not process direct exchanges for retail products.

If an eligible product qualifies for return, you may:

  1. Request and complete the return under this policy.
  2. Place a separate order for the desired replacement product.

If Pharmedico shipped an incorrect or defective product, we may send a replacement directly rather than requiring you to place a new order.

14. Order Cancellations

Retail Orders

You may request cancellation of an unfulfilled retail order by contacting Pharmedico as soon as possible.

We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the request.

Cancellation is not guaranteed after:

  • Fulfillment has begun
  • A shipping label has been processed
  • The order has been transferred to a manufacturer or distributor
  • The package has been given to the carrier

If cancellation is not possible, eligible products may still qualify for return under this policy.

Prescription Orders

Prescription and compounded medication cancellation is governed separately by Section 2 of this policy.

15. Special Orders and Drop-Shipped Products

Special-order, manufacturer-direct, drop-shipped, custom, or personalized products may be final sale.

Return eligibility may depend on the applicable manufacturer's or distributor's return requirements.

We recommend contacting Pharmedico before purchasing a special-order item if return eligibility is important to you.

If a special-order or drop-shipped item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact Pharmedico promptly so that we can assist with resolution.

16. Recalls

Products subject to a manufacturer, FDA, pharmacy, distributor, or other regulatory recall will be handled according to the applicable recall instructions and legal requirements.

If Pharmedico notifies you of a recall, follow the instructions provided.

If you believe a product may have been recalled, contact Pharmedico before using or returning it.

17. Packages Marked Delivered but Not Received

Claims involving packages marked delivered by the carrier but not located by the customer will be handled according to our Shipping Policy.

Please contact Pharmedico promptly.

We may assist with:

  • Reviewing carrier tracking
  • Confirming delivery details
  • Opening a carrier investigation
  • Reviewing signature information
  • Determining whether replacement or another resolution is appropriate

Refund or replacement eligibility may depend on the carrier investigation and circumstances surrounding delivery.

18. Shipping Damage

If a package arrives visibly damaged:

  1. Photograph the shipping box before discarding it.
  2. Photograph the damaged product and packaging.
  3. Retain the shipping materials.
  4. Contact Pharmedico promptly.

Do not use a prescription medication if its container, seal, labeling, or contents appear damaged or compromised.

19. Promotional Products and Discounts

Refunds for eligible items purchased using:

  • Discount codes
  • Promotional pricing
  • Store credits
  • Bundles
  • Other promotional offers

will generally be based on the actual amount paid for the returned item.

If returning an item causes the remaining order to no longer qualify for a promotion, applicable promotional adjustments may be reflected in the refund where permitted.

20. Gifts

If a product was marked as a gift or purchased by another individual, refund options may depend on the original payment method and transaction details.

We may require proof of purchase before processing a return or refund.

21. Manufacturer Warranties

Certain products may be covered by a manufacturer's warranty or satisfaction guarantee.

Where applicable, Pharmedico may:

  • Assist you with a manufacturer claim
  • Direct you to the manufacturer
  • Process the claim on your behalf
  • Provide another appropriate resolution

Manufacturer warranty terms are separate from Pharmedico's standard return policy.

22. Florida Consumers

Pharmedico maintains this written return and refund policy to clearly communicate return eligibility and restrictions.

Florida law contains specific requirements regarding disclosure of refund policies and recognizes exceptions for certain products, including custom-made goods and items that cannot lawfully be resold.

Nothing in this policy is intended to limit consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.

23. International Retail Orders

Return availability for eligible retail products shipped internationally may be limited.

Customers may be responsible for:

  • International return shipping
  • Customs charges
  • Duties
  • Taxes
  • Brokerage fees

Prescription medications are not shipped internationally.

Please contact Pharmedico before returning an internationally shipped retail product.

24. Policy Abuse and Fraud

Pharmedico reserves the right, to the extent permitted by law, to refuse or limit return privileges where we reasonably determine that return activity involves:

  • Fraud
  • Abuse
  • Misrepresentation
  • Product substitution
  • Repeated unauthorized returns
  • Tampering

This provision will not be used to deny legitimate rights or remedies required by law.

25. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Return & Refund Policy periodically to reflect changes in:

  • Products
  • Pharmacy operations
  • Manufacturers
  • Shipping practices
  • Return procedures
  • Applicable legal requirements

When changes are made, the Last Updated date at the top of this page will be revised.
