Jill Jennings, ND, RN
Functional Nutrition Practitioner
Dr. Jill Jennings is a Naturopathic Doctor, Registered Nurse, Professional Speaker and Author. She is a woman with an amazing story to tell! After working in healthcare for over 25 years and battling two major health crises, Dr. Jill has experienced what it means to be both the doctor and the patient.
Prior to becoming a doctor, she worked as an ER nurse for 15 years. During that time, she developed a chronic disease that led her to disability. That is when she found naturopathic medicine and it healed her. She went back to school and got a 4-year doctorate degree in naturopathic medicine from National University of Health Sciences.
Years later her world was rocked by an aggressive breast cancer diagnosis and she was forever changed! Cancer was never on her radar, but she now says that cancer is the worst and best thing that has ever happened to her. It made her into the doctor she is today and grew her faith in ways she never knew possible.
Through years of practice and her own health journey, Dr. Jill developed a deep passion for nutrition and lifestyle medicine. Food is medicine and she says that it is the one thing that made the biggest impact in her own healing journey as well as the health and lives of those she has cared for over the years.
In the darkest days of her life, she discovered how to find faith, joy and even laughter in the midst of a battle. Through her pain she discovered her purpose and now uses her experiences to educate and inspire others to transform their health and lives too.
